FluentCommunity Login

Hi,

Just could do with your advice on Fluent Community. The login didn't work properly.

First I raised a question with a ticket.

"When a new member joins. An email is sent to them one with the 6 digit code which is ok.

But they also have a email sent to them automatically to change there password to a more secure one."

The answer was to " Fluent Community doesn’t have any option to disable this email notification. However, you can easily prevent the email from being sent by adding the following snippet"

This didn't do the trick. As I cant code I got someone to sort out the login. It's taking lots of tries to get it something like right.

The Question is they had to design a plugin so we can have a password reset. Called "Fluent Reset Flow Enhancer" Surely Fluent Forms can provide everything for logins.?

Thanks Ray

I believe that comes from WP itself and you need to disable the mail there.

Thank You JV, So do you know if the standard WP login comes with Pasword reset. Thanks

J V

Raymond Whittaker Yes it does. I am however not allowing it and use a different plugin for that. It is the one thing still not being fixed in FluentAuth.

J V Thanks JV I hope you dont mind me asking the name of the plugin you use. As my developer did his own and I'm little concerned on security. Thanks

Raymond Whittaker I just noticed that I am not actively using it anymore now, however the plugin I used for this before is "Theme My Login".
