FluentCommunity is NOT intuitive at all. Update: Thank you for your help.
I have FluentTablesPro and FluentFormsPro and work through them just fine. I wanted to purchase FluentCommunity but it doesn't create a homepage so no one can join. It doesn't list groups, it doesn't interface with FluentCRM and list members, it doesn't give sample or demos I can modify. At least BuddyPress gets you halfway there and you can figure out the rest, FluentCommunity...it just doesn't guide you along. Is this normal when I download the free plugin for testing?

I've already done all of that. Where is my homepage? Where is the register/join button? Where is a menu of groups? After all the steps you mentioned, it still defaults back to the wordpress homepage "Hello World". Do I need to redirect my general settings to a subpage as the homepage? Why is there no demo data? I'm very familiar with BuddyPress and BuddyBoss, been using them for 15 years. I'll continue to watch videos hoping to find something that doesn't leave me at a dead end. Thank you.
I'll echo Deckard, the whole activating and setting FluentCommunity up is very simple - I'd definitely re-read https://fluentcommunity.co/docs/fluentcommunity-onboarding-guide and the whole Space Management section in the Docs is very easy to follow, adding links to the community to your WordPress website/menu works exactly the same way you would add any menu links Dashboard > Appearance > Menu, and adding Spaces, Links, Courses etc in FluentCommunity is done from yourwebsite.tld/portal > click on the Settings (cog icon)... On a side note, I'm playing around with memberpress, and I see a feature that would definitely solve this.. a simple admin page for "fluentcom-support" with a few categories that link to the docs/blog articles...
