FluentCommunity 1.1.20 Release
We just released FluentCommunity 1.1.20 with some super exciting updates and improvements.
In this update, we have shipped one of the most requested features and that is one-click migration from BuddyPress / BuddyBoss. Yes, now you can migrate all the data from BB into FluentCommunity in minutes. That migration includes all the posts, reactions, users, profiles, groups, members, etc. If you have a BB community please try this in a staging environment first and check if everything is getting migrating or not. We tried our best to include all the data. If something is missing, our team would love to improve it.
What's new in 1.1.20
- BuddyBoss/BuddyPress Migration: 1-Click migration from BB and upgrade your community to a new level.
- Move Post to a Different Space: You can now move posts from one space to another space. It's available on the edit post screen.
- Exclude Users from Leaderboard: Now you can exclude some users from the leaderboard. it's available on the leaderboard settings.
- Multi-Site Compatibility: We have improved the multi-site compatibility.
- Login / Signup improvement: A few styling issues fixed as well as now you can customize the terms and conditions texts and links.
- Unified Post Announcement: Now you don't have to write @everyone, We have added a checkbox to send email notifications to all space members.
- Improved Media upload for S3
- UI & UX improvements along with some bug fixes.
This is the very first update of this year and we have a few more updates on the pipeline where we are focusing on reporting, analytics, spam management, etc.

Move Post to a Different Space - really nice feature.
When the moving post has comments from other users who won't have access to the new location/Space then these users can click their own comments links in their profile however they will get Post Not Found error. Maybe in this case they should see a Join button/Lock Screen or any other message.
For better UI maybe there should be an arrow icon visible to Admin/MODS not the text: Move to a different Space. All icons should be alligned in one line and when this arrow/move icon is clicked then the drop-down list with Spaces names is visible.

Exclude Users from Leaderboard - Perfect!
It would be also nice to Exclude users Roles in addition to manual users selection.
In addition it would be nice to allow the User to hide the username on the Leaderboard from the User Profile if the end user decide so.

Unified Post Announcement - Handy feature.
Maybe it would be better to add a Globe or an Envelop Icon instead of a text line (Everyone - Send annoucement email..) to improve the UI. If the icon is clicked/selected then it has different color.

Its really nice that we can customize the terms and conditions texts and links.
Hint: just select the text first and then click the insert link icon

It looks like the Global Post bug was fixed so now Admin can disable to submit posts directly in to the Main Activity Feed - Yummi. -
When a Space is Secret and Admin don't want to show number of members in that Space the number of members in that Secret Space is visible on the User Profile Spaces tab (everywhere else is not visible but there) - you see it here with VIP
Ps. Just wondering if the Fluent Forms FB group can be migrated here at some point or just have a feed (*at least one way) from a FB group here

Carlos Rodera you can enable/disable the Global Posts in Settings > General
But wait... I still see users posts submitted in the user profile (not into Space) in the Feed or I am to excited... hmm..

In regards to migrating from buddyboss.... Should I migrate now, taking into account the upcoming Bunny stream and storage integration.... I'd like to host media on Bunny in the long term, especially compressed videos.... What should I do ?
Rosvaldas Nudas Currently FluentCommunity does not support Bunny. Maybe we will support it within this quarter.
Shahjahan Jewel buddyboss migration is useless because it migrates everything without any media at all, no photos no gifs no videos. Even youtube embeds appear as simple text urls... Will this be improved or not?

Shahjahan Jewel Please integrate Presto Player videos into course lessons in FluentCommunity. This feature has become the most requested addition in the User Submitted section and would greatly enhance the user experience.
We are eagerly awaiting the Fluent Community REST API.
Great updates. Still need quizzes on courses though or some easy way to embed of shortcode them from a form… although direct implementation is best.

Shahjahan Jewel actually in fluentcrm we have the automation to assign a badge but not to remove one. Is it possibile to implement it?
Also, is it possibile to implement badge sync tag based, just like courses and spaces?
Tindaro Battaglia u have only an option in Fluent CRM (as i see) where u can remove a existing badge when a new Badge is applied (its a Checkbox)

Stanislav Novokhatko its working hopelessly at the moment. No media Migration at all, all BB posts appear completely empty on fluent after migration, only text is migrates. Not worth it at the moment, but they said they will improve it...
