First of all, thanks for reporting all the bugs we tried to fix everything in today's update. Let's check today's update details
What's exciting & new:
- Authentication bug fixed: The broken login page has been fixed and it will work independently. If you use the FluentAuth plugin then it will work with that as well.
- Space Slug issues fixed: Now it will support non-English slugs as well.
- Open graph image for spaces: You can add an open graph image for spaces which will be used if you share the space URL on social media.
- Course permalink changed: We have changed the course permalinks and now it's pretty and more SEO friendly.
- Unified Custom Links: We have updated some internal structure about how the custom links (in the sidebar as well as in the space header). This will help us to extend that in the future.
- PHP 8.x supported: We have tested with PHP 8.x and fixed a few issues that we had.
- Chat App Update: We have updated the chat app as well with the reported bug fixes and some styling improvements.
- New Translation Strings: In this update, we have added around 60 new translation strings. I think now it covers 95%+ strings. Thank you for reporting all the missing translations. Really appreciate it.
- Performance Improvement: FluentCommunity is all about performance and speed. This is one of the very core things for every element of this plugin. We are continuously improving it wherever we can. I will write a separate post tomorrow about the philosophy and design decisions we are making when building this plugin

Yes, Lesson Comments are linkable. We will add contextual link copy option to all comments.

i think perhaps you are setting some token behind the scenes. So while you are checking if I am logged in, until i click on the community portals login button...even though I do not have to enter a user ID or Password, it is not setting that token. Once I click on the login button, which ever routined brings up the login screen first check if the user is logged in, then it finds that they are, sets the token...and then the normal menu appears

Bruce Hafner, for headers like CORS check your .htaccess file if this is the case but you have only the below headers implemented I guess:
x-content-type-options nosniff
x-xss-protection 1; mode=block
What I would really like in a chat is the ability to see who's online. That's the main difference between a chat a feed. It gives people a sense of togetherness and interactivity. That's the way it in Better Messages plugin, for example.
Assaf Manor, I can see a green dot with the User Profile picture when the user is online.
Another suggestion - in the feed, when I want to comment I have to click the comment button. But in Facebook, for example, you already have your dedicated text-field open and ready for you to comment. I think that's also the way it should be here. This is especially important posts that have a lot of comments.
Assaf Manor, so if there are 100 posts with 10 commetns each in a feed under each post there should be the text field so you can type comments fast?
It might take more space on a screen and prevent some bots typing comments but if that is needed then ok.
Mat, I think it's needed. It's not reasonable after skimming through 20 comment to have to scroll back to the top to add a comment.
Assaf Manor, you add comments below a post so I am not sure why scrolling back to the top is needed. Only when you want to add a new Post you need to scroll to the top. I use the Home button on my keyboard. But if this can be improved as you suggested so its a Feature Request then.
And another thing - I don't see the option to update.
Assaf Manor, are you referring to the Plugin update or what update? You can read: Starter Guide in case you needed - there is an info how to update plugin and some more basic details.

When deleting a Space it would be nice to have the same second step added as for deleting a course. In this case it could be: "Delete Spaces
Please Type "DELETE" to confirm. Please note, all the Space content will be delete." -
Shapes for Spaces (for Courses I didnt notice this issue) Custom Links disapears - Create a Link > click Save button > then go back to the Space > but again click Customize Settings tab without any changes just click Save Changes button > go back to the Space and shapes are gone.

Can we have posts/comments submission and access to Spaces/Members/Leaderboard GreyOut for user with <100% profile completed. This "forcing way" Admin could enabled per fCommunity (Pro) - I just copy this comment here as it was posted in the fBoards group under some post related to the User Profile completion.

For Chat app to see the dot showing which message is new we need to first click on any other user name and then the dot is visible - not sure if this is only on my end but letting you know

Comments IDs in URL still missing to Replies so it is really hard to follow Replies to Comments - links in email or in the notification area doesnt scroll to a newest reply but to the main comment which doesnt make sense when the are multiply replies under a comment.
BTW: I believe we have a cache for this website - I see some delays with notifications here - sometimes when I get any email notification (when I am mentioned in a post) and after +30 seconds I get the notification here when I am already logged in. It is not an issue but just my observation.
- Background color for Bubble popup (link edit) is not fixed in Dark Mode
- z-index icons issue is not fixed in Mobile view for the Leaderboard icons set. When scrolled icons still are going above Home icon in Light/Dark mode.
Still cannot embed YT in a course:
e.oembed is undefinedIt would be nice to find a way to organize Bookmarks in to a "folders" structure - Spaces name for bookmarks could be collapsed/expanded.
Bookmarks should be accessible under a Space name from where they are coming from.
Having >20 bookmarks is hard to navigate especially when we are looking for a bookmark from a particular Space etc.
Implement tooltips/hints when pointing mouse over icons
Also add the "i" aka the info icons to UI admin fields so users can see what each feature or field is doing.
Add pagination for the User Profile posts - the same way it is done for the User Profil Comments area there. It is much easier to display 150 coments per page (and use CTRL+F search shortcut if needed) and go to the next 150 Comments per page then wait for lazy load All Posts in the user profile one page - especially if a user has many posts etc.
Fix the pagination visibility in a user profile > Comments - when you scroll to the bottom pagination numbers are not visible but cut on Mobile view.
Add to the Comments kebab menu (three dots) option to copy link to a comment (including entries in replies to comments too).
It would be great to have a simple UserName change log so when the admin change any UserName in the UserProfile there is a log showing what were the previous user names. It is really helpful and needed for data integrity (Compliance) and security reasons.
Historical changes in the log should include details like: previous user name, new user name, date, changed by (if more users than Super Admin can change user log - example Community Manager etc - we need to know who change it and when). Log could include a short text field for Admin notes or business reason for changing wordpress user name. Lets dont forget that this is critical change in Wordpress and it is related to the Security so it is really good to have this UserName change log in place.

Can we have Recent Community Activities displayed with Spaces scope. Only in the Activity Feed we could see Recent Community Activities from All Spaces?
In the notification could we have also included a quote from from the update - currently we see only Post/Comment title and Space Name but it would be nice if we could also see one liner or 2 liner (it can be first sentence from the update) from the update so we dont have to click each short notification to see "+1" or "Ok" comment.
Notifications entry could be short (Compact View) or with 2-3 liners (Normal View)
adding just an example how we could have bookmarks organize for the User so it is easier to find the needed bookmark
Hi Team, great work. For me to switch from Buddyboss to your Plugin i need at least all Fuctions in Spaces (Groups) from Buddyboss. Same is with Flexibility to show Widgets in sidebar etc. You have a Rodmap?
Plans for a Follow button in user profiles, and if also a link in profile to show user followers and follows.

I love how smooth things are so far. This is small and may be included in the UX updates, but it appears that the upper right menu and notifications dropdowns overlap each other when clicked. As a user, I would expect that one would go away when the other is clicked. Additionally, clicking anywhere else on the page doesn't make the menu disappear, which I would expect as well.

Fix is to change "Permalink" from "Plain" to "Post Name"

Shahjahan Jewel, if i create a user the login works, but if i try to create a user from signup that does not work. Which is kinda important because that would be the new users first experience. but one problem solved!
