Fluent Forms Pro or Paymattic for Fluent Community?

My community will have 12-month memberships, but I see both plugins offer subscriptions.

IDEALLY I'd like to have the ability to customize the membership time period (6-month memberships, etc) and here's the big one: when their subscription is cancelled or over, restrict access to community courses and groups.

Not sure if Fluent Forms Pro or Paymattic is heading this direction. If neither are, might have to use Restrict Content Pro for now.

+1 for this

Renae DupuisΒ I just went with Fluent Forms Pro right now. It integrates nicely, creates a user, adds to CRM, etc. But hopefully it will mature to do more.

kyler boudreauΒ I was exploring both today, too. I am working on building out a digital resource shop on the site, so I am thinking I will try with Paymattic first so (1) I can track sales in the CRM, (2) community members can see all purchases in the same spot.

But I am happy to learn from your experiences as you go, too - so please keep sharing!

Renae DupuisΒ oh interesting...now you're making me want to do Paymattic. So can a user go to a dashboard and see their recurring membership and all of that?

Renae Dupuis

kyler boudreauΒ That's my understanding - here is what my testing has revealed.

Renae DupuisΒ Oh NICE! You are so very kind for sharing. Thank you. I think I need to make the switch.

Renae DupuisΒ I got this from Fluent Support today after asking them about Fluent Forms Pro vs Paymattic for the community: "You are correct that Fluent Forms doesn’t currently have a customer dashboard feature similar to Paymattic. At the moment, I can’t say for sure whether this feature will be introduced in Fluent Forms in the future. However, the Paymattic development team is actively exploring a native integration with Fluent Community. If all goes well, this exciting feature might be included in the next Paymattic update."
