Fluent Community - Own Chats in different colour
Not sure if I am the only who who would find useful to be able to distinguish admin messages from / other member messages with a similar scheme as WhatsApp or Messenger.
This is, maybe blue / green for our own messages and the actual grey for the "others".
Similar to what we have now for "Reply" on chat, in which the original message passes to yellow background.
I am really looking forward to this feature. I saw the effect of the "yellow" comment and at first thought it was a reply from the admin, but then I realized that it was highlighted as something new.
+Premium/Paid post highlight - also Premium users posts could have different border color.
Note: maybe even users could promote posts to the top of the list (listing boost for 1 day) and Pay for $uch a promotion.
+When a post is marked as Read that post text color could be a little bit darker (similar behavior as Discord has) so the user knows that that post was already read
Mat I have your post in a yellow box, these are the kind of posts I thought at first were from admins)
Artur Abakarov that yellow borders appear when you enter into new replies on post you created / follow from a notification so as you can better discover it in case there are many replies.
I guess that’s the reason.
Maybe colors on post, will make sense just as May said: for premium users or so.
Not sure if this will be something the team will Be considering.
But at least for chats, this will be very coherent with what any member would expect of a chat UI.
Jorge de los Reyes here I totally agree and support, I'm really looking forward to the possibility to make colored posts for admins or other special users. It would also be great to have colored names like in Discord, depending on the user's permissions and rank/rating, or by admin designation.
