Fluent Community on a sub domain

I am trying to find documentation on how to setup Fluent Community on a sub domain of my site. OR should I set this up on a completely different site and point my main site to it. Thank you in advance!

Hosting company?

Someone correct me if I'm wrong but if you want FC on a subdomain of your current site, you'd have to setup a brand new WordPress site for that. I know of a couple ways around that but one would require some custom WordPress code and the other would require some advanced Linux configuration (Apache, Nginx, etc....I'm not an expert on these so I may be wrong about that too).

The subdomain has to be configured on the webhosting service and may require adding custom dns on the domain service provider. A separate Wordpress installation is required to have FC on the subdomain, too.

Thank you to all who responded. I did figure this out through my host application : siteground.com If you purchase the Go Big package. You get unlimited Domains. I simply created a sub domain off of my main domain. It automatically prompts you to create a new WP site. Then you can add in Fluent Community to this sub domain site. It all worked out. Thanks again for your support!
