Fluent Community MCP

Hi everyone!

I’m looking into using MCP (Model Context Protocol) with Fluent Community, and I found these two open-source projects on GitHub:

  1. Fluent Community MCP
    https://github.com/wplaunchify/fluent-community-mcp
  2. Fluent MCP Servers
    https://github.com/carlosrodera/fluent-mcp-servers

Has anyone here already tested or used either of them, especially with Fluent Community?

My main goal is to connect Fluent Community with AI agents/tools through MCP, so I’m particularly interested in real-world experience regarding:

  • Stability and reliability
  • Authentication/setup
  • Reading Fluent Community data
  • Creating or updating content
  • Compatibility with recent Fluent Community versions
  • Security concerns
  • Which of the two projects you would recommend

I’m mainly interested in the Fluent Community MCP integration at this point.

If anyone has already implemented something similar, I’d really appreciate hearing about your experience, what worked, what didn’t, and which approach you chose.

Thanks!

Debo OgunrindeΒ Hey there! I checked out Fluent Hubβ€”I even installed itβ€”but it doesn’t have anything specifically for Fluent Community.
I want to build a "second brain" using Fluent Community.
I’ve already been doing this, but I’d like to integrate it with MCP,
so that when I’m using Claude or Codex, I can just ask it to save a runbook or blueprint directly into Fluent Community for me.

Paulo BenetonΒ I've buit and Fluentcommunity AI OS that includes kaparthy's wiki/2nd brain. It works with the entire fluentstack. message me for a copy. https://trainingsites.io is the live example

Shahjahan JewelΒ had mentioned something around a month ago here that native MCP would be coming soon for FC. Is that the link mentioned in the other comment? (And plans for that for fluentplayer as well?) Thanks! :)

[Random additional comments: on my iPhone 13 mini in this PWA app sometimes the menu on the left side to get to other spaces is not responding when clicking on another space even when trying multiple times and nothing happens so that’s a little bit of a weird user experience.

And number two the option to have some kind of β€œget notified about a post” without the need to comment oneself on the post, like that option Facebook has, would be awesome. Thank you for your great tools!]

Thanks for sharing these, Paulo BenetonΒ . FluentHub provides MCP tools for several Fluent products, but native FluentCommunity MCP tools haven’t been released yet. They’re planned, though we don’t have a confirmed release date to share.

The two GitHub projects are third-party integrations we haven’t tested. We can’t recommend one over the other or verify their reliability, compatibility, or security. If you need to build an integration now, our FluentCommunity REST API is documented.

Falk WillisΒ , FluentPlayer MCP is on our roadmap too. We’ll share updates on both products when we have confirmed release details.

Thanks for the reply!

The FluentCommunity REST API documentation already helps a lot and will probably allow me to build most of the integration while the native MCP is not available yet.

I’ll explore the API more carefully to see how far I can integrate it with Claude Code and Codex.

Once the native FluentCommunity MCP is released, I’m sure it will make this workflow even easier.
