Feature Request: Conditional Field Group Visibility

Hi Team,

First of all, I really like the new Custom Profile Fields feature. The implementation is clean and the concept of Field Groups makes it very easy to organize profile information.

While experimenting with it, I came across an idea that I think could make this feature even more powerful.

Conditional Field Group Visibility

It would be great if an entire Field Group could be displayed conditionally.

For example, based on:

  • Community Tags
  • User Roles
  • Space Membership
  • (optionally) FluentCRM Tags

Instead of showing every profile section to every member, only the relevant groups would become visible.

Example

Imagine a creative community.

Most members simply participate in discussions.

Some members also work professionally as freelancers or agencies.

Those members receive a Community Tag called:

Creator

Only members with this tag would see an additional profile section, for example:

  • Portfolio Website
  • Services
  • Availability
  • Hourly Rate
  • Software Skills
  • Languages

Regular members would never see these fields, keeping their profiles clean and simple.

Why Field Groups instead of individual fields?

Since Field Groups already exist, adding visibility conditions to the entire group would be a very elegant solution.

One condition could instantly show or hide a complete section without configuring every field individually.

Other use cases

This would not only benefit creative communities.

It could also be useful for:

  • Coaches
  • Teachers
  • Vendors
  • Moderators
  • Premium Members
  • Experts
  • Agencies

Each member type often requires completely different profile information.

I think conditional Field Group visibility would make the already excellent profile system much more flexible while keeping it easy to manage.

What do you think?

We need to have the custom profile fields mapped on the fluent crm. Thats very important

AS W

that's an interesting idea but way too complex. They'll never do it and I bet they won't even answer you. Many of us have requested or suggested much simpler features only to be ignored
