FC on Hostinger!

I was considering xcloud, however. I did install FC on hostinger and the only glitch i had was not being able to save the menu settings. I disabled modsecurity and everything seems to run very nicely. Hostinger is still cheaper then xcloud, here is what I have.

Hostinger: business plan

Disk usage: 0.47gb out of 200gb

Files (inodes) 2100k out of 600k

Cpu usage: 0%

Memory: 1536mb available

At this point πŸ‘‰ I only have FC pro default installed. Im sure the above numbers will climb as i bring more plugins online, but all is good πŸ‘

Xcloud is still an upgrade option if I should need this in the future.

Thank you

Dont discount hostinger just yet as it is a very good choice for a starter site.

Congratulations!

I am using hostinger on my second FC, where do I my plugins practical.

I've been using hostinger for years now at least for more than 5 years, and I'll say them and a2hosting(for my main FC mpaddi) are the best for me, and their performance is top notch, speed, oh and both are all shared hosting.

I have over 40+ plugins and would be adding more to it, and yet they're both still fast on shared hosting

WiLson EberechiΒ awesome πŸ‘Œ that reminds me Wilson, i need to send you a private message soon.

I recommend to try hostinger VPS instead of hostinger shared hosting and use Xcloud panel, you can add 1 server and upto 10 sites for free there.

David Scurlock

Shanto AsifΒ keep in mind that hostinger does not offer managed vps plans.

Shanto Asif

David ScurlockΒ Do you really need managed vps if you use xcloud panels with it?

Julien Cros

Hi David! I did install FC on Hostinger too and had the same issue with the menu setting but had to disable my CDN to make it works.
When I tried to disable modsecurity by editing my .htaccess with the following It didn't work:\
SecRuleRemoveById 400011
SecRuleRemoveById 400012

How did you do please?

David Scurlock

Julien CrosΒ I did not do it myself, a developer did it for me. I always have a developer on standby. I can ask him what he did, but he wont be back online until tomorrow.
