FC Mobile APP
Is anyone here actively using the Fluent Community Mobile App?
I'm testing it, but it's extremely slow, doesn't display properly on my iPhone 15 pro max, and also shows sections that I turned off on the desktop version... Also, no translation works.
Will there ever be a good app for Fluent Community?
Where did you get the app from? I would say report your findings to the app developer so it can be fixed.

For production websites I would not use that at the moment, but its just a beta.
Currently it has too many bugs, its too slow, I have at iPhone 16 Pro Max display issues too, it dont shows custom pages, it dont shows my live-chat that is embed via JS, my custom CSS codes dont works, custom color dont works and so much more things :D
I think the best solution is still PWA and its easier to maintain...

Kevin HeinrichsΒ Agreed - I genuinely don't see the difference between PWA and native apps once they are installed. And with PWA you have direct and complete control over the look and feel of your site.

Not a perfect implementation yet but it proves the concept. Will be creating a custom menu for it shortly.
Ross FCAΒ Yes, its easier to maintain, with full control and same style. But I havent spent enough time with PWA yet, because push notifications are very important to me - just need a solution for that then Iam fine with PWA!

I think there are different mobile app that works with FC. It would be interesting to benchmark them in order to understand which one is the best one.

ProsperΒ I previously tested βwpmobileapp,β but it was very complicated. They only generated files for me to upload to Google Play and the Apple App Store. That cost extra money, Apple ultimately rejected it, and Googleβs approval took almost three weeksβduring which I had to be active every day and have 14 testers using the beta daily. It was complicated and unnecessary. I need something simple. I donβt mind a PWA, as long as even a 50-year-old woman can add it to her home screen.

Tested the app, but as said, it is a beta, real slow. Shahjahan JewelΒ The only reason for me to use a mobile app for the moment, is mobile push notifications. If it would be possible, perhaps with Fluentcrm, to send pushnotifications, than I would not even considder an app...
MariΓ‘n Ε arayΒ Thanks for the feedback. We are working on the issues reported so far and also optimizing the app. We have an update pending approval from Apple and Android, also another update on the pipeline.
Once this one is approved and published, we will submit that. Approval from Apple and Google takes time and we can't expedite it.
As you know, this is a beta version where we are taking feedback from valued users like you and updating the app constantly.
