Exclude private courses and private lessons from being indexed

Google is currently crawling and indexing our private courses and lessons. This is a significant risk for our site's SEO, as these pages can be flagged as low-quality or spam, leading to potential penalties.

I suggest to implement two key changes:

  1. Exclude all private courses and private lessons from FluentCommunity sitemap.
  2. Add a noindex tag to all private courses and private lessons.

⚠️ If you ask Google not to index your course pages, your site will lose all SEO/GEO value. You just need to indicate to search engines that part of your content is for private use. This way, the engines understand why your pages only have titles or text excerpts.

I had already brought this up, and the Ninja team applied a fix in the latest update.

D@vidΒ that's a good idea using isAccessibleForFree schema. When this idea is applied? At the moment, no isAccessibleForFree schema.

Hi,
I didn’t check whether Ninja actually applied the fix, and then I forgot to do it. What’s certain is that without it, we have a search engine ranking issue, and it’s urgent to fix it.
