Dynamic Sidebar
I would like the sidebar to change dynamically as you clink into a menu tab, Space or Course. This way we can add useful links and resources for that particular topic or course. There is no need to see the Getting Started link when you are inside a course or space. That can be reserved for the Feed sidebar. Once you are into a Course or Space, only seeing resources for those topics is necessary.
Here is an example of one of our spaces around woman's Breast Cancer. There are 21 types and users have to scroll across to filter. It would be nice if we had the entire sidebar dedicated to add quick filtering options and organize our resource links next to a topic.

If it's not absolutely necessary to change the sidebar content: you can already have different, individual links per topic/course right now. They show up at the top, right below the main menu. Maybe this helps a little bit - as some sort of workaround.
Daniel Knabl There is not enough room to be effective for what we need. Also it is a much better UI if it is on the left where users are already conditioned to look.
Have a look at this: Widgets - Fluent Community Add-ons
Here is an example. We would like to change the top tabs to categories like Health, then the sidebar would change dynamically for that page, so we could group all of spaces by categories on the sidebar. This way users can navigate to their space quickly, versus scrolling through dozens of cards.
Sean Martin That seems pretty complex, but there is definitely a need for something that gives us the ability to create subsets of spaces/courses.
