Dropping the biggest update this week
The BIG FluentCommunity update got delayed… but only because we’re making it EVEN BETTER. 🔥
Just hang tight for the next 1–2 days. When it drops, you’re going to be blown away.
I’m honestly so excited about this one. Can’t wait for you to see what we’ve cooked up!
Shahjahan Jewel you are teasing us! 😆
Nice! i gonna sleep for 2 days then. Cant wait. 😍
Blocking the rest of the week out on my calendar...
Can you give us a small hint or something to chew on while we wait?
It's really gonna be big... I already noticed a lot of changes
Kudos to all fluent community developers
Waiting for events to be released since months.
I hope the PWA solution that was tested here is coming because I've been waiting for 2 months in the dark...
Wuhuuuuu the app is comming everyoooooneeee!!!!!!
Amazing 😍
Honestly, Shahjahan Jewel , we can't keep up... you're going like rockets, but I'm looking forward to what you're gradually bringing, not only in FluentCommunity, but also in other products.
So exciting !
Are we getting things like search Post, so we can easily find long-time posts?
Camilo Barrett We already have search options.
Shahjahan Jewel it is not possible yet to also search other WP items right? Would be nice to have a universal search for the whole website.
Ohhh, thank you so much! Once you mentioned it, I looked again and realized it was at the top of the screen. I had been searching for it closer to the sort option.
Me too Camilo Barrett! I never saw it, until I asked here.
I hope it will also include fixes in regards to privacy, gdpr & accessibility
Events and Calendar feature?
Can't wait! I'm so curious and excited!
I hope to find a solution in it for the possibility of switching languages between English and right-aligned Arabic.
Excited!
Events? Calendar?
I'm hoping you're adding more seamless integration with your other plugins! Like a 'My Bookings' page in the profile natively!
Thanks for all you and your team does!
Shahjahan Jewel is it for today ?
Looking forward to this!
Hopefully it will happen today
Hoang Hxn 🙏🙏🙏🙏
I'm not anxious or anything...
Hopefully this will this fix the issue of not being able to approve posts.
Peter Kappes I've been waiting for this too. I have it set that a users frist post is automatically sent for moderation (to avoid spam), but you can't actually approve it! Really frustrating!
Marcus Wareham Same here. We got bombarded with spam once and so I definitely need to have moderation on. I noticed if the post has a photo or video attached it does not approve. What have you noticed?
Shahjahan Jewel Are you aware of this issue? It has been ongoing for some time now, but now I can barely approve any posts sent to moderation. It seems to happen more when there are photos or videos attached.
Peter Kappes I'm yet to allow posting as I'm waiting for this to be fixed. Right now, people can comment on posts that have been made by us (we're early testing). Once the moderation is fixed, we'll look to open it up. Wish this wasn't the case, but when we allowed posting, we got hit by spam. Rather than damage our reputation and the community, we decided to take a slow approach.
Marcus Wareham How do you get spammed if only registered users can post and bots usually don't get that far? Do you use captcha or cloudflare anti-bot protection for registration/login pages?
Marek I do, but much like facebook groups, people sign up and then do a whole bunch of self-promotion (which I call spam), rather then participate in the community. I don't have a problem with people promoting themselves, but only after they've proved they provide value to the community rather than just post promotions...
Marcus Wareham Fair enough. Have you tried Profanity Filters to avoid keeping every post on hold?
I use "Mark all new posts as Pending in the given spaces" feature and I did not have issues with it so far.
Marek I'm using the 'New posts will be hidden until their first post is approved' setting. It seems that it's this specifically that doesn't work. I also have the profanity filter setup and they works fine.
Marcus Wareham Hi Marcus, I believe I found a solution to this issue. The new update did not fix the issue, but I think I found out how you can make it work. It worked for me. So, it appears that approving posts on the front end does not work many times when images or video are attached. I went into the back end to the content moderation section, then clicked on flagged, review and then ignore. I was able to approve all of them. Let me know if that works for you.
Peter Kappes Thanks for that, I'll take a look
Marcus Wareham Let me know if it works for you.
Imagine all the resources you put into FluentCart being applied to your existing products how much better and not delayed they'd be!
Honestly how are you seriously trying to compete with WooCommerce and their thousands of plugins....? Waste of your resources when you already have good products that need advancing
Rocket Ivy the new password is EARLY NEXT WEEK.
Tindaro Battaglia I understand this is time-sensitive, but your repeated impatience is becoming difficult to read and deal with. Please keep your comments respectful and less childish.
Fit Lehrer I’m not the kind of person who writes disrespectful comments about anyone(in fact, I often don’t post in groups or forums at all, preferring to spend my time on more productive things), and as an entrepreneur running two companies in Italy, I know very well the challenges involved in building software.
But in my view, the problem here is different: so far there has been a lot of marketing around the product, but despite the promises made and features that were already planned, nothing has actually been delivered, only the recurring “EARLY NEXT WEEK.”
Keep in mind that I’m one of the customers who bought practically all of their products on day one, often choosing the most expensive bundles, only to end up dealing with bugs that were fixed after months and months of waiting (for example: Fluent Affiliate, left for months without updates and without the ability to associate WooCommerce data with affiliates).
So before you write something to someone, make sure you clearly understand who you’re writing to and what you’re talking about. I’ve never been disrespectful, at most, I’m an extremely dissatisfied customer because of the slow updates, poor communication (often pure marketing), and the lack of clear answers to simple questions (for example: these events that have been planned for months, will they happen or not?).
Tindaro Battaglia Fit Lehrer I am in exactly the same situation as Tindaro, because I have actually invested in all the Fluent products that have been available. And unfortunately, I have to say that apart from the fact that, of course, what they do is quite good and their products carry a certain quality, they provide some ease of use, etc., etc., Fluent communication falls, well I can honestly say, as one of the worst companies I have dealt with in the WordPress market.
Unfortunately, I say this with sadness, because the potential they have here and what they have created, if only they invested in real and genuine communication with the community, which of course, the one here is an important community, a community that believed in them, that supports them, that right at all those first product openings believes what they say.
However, my experience is that every single product they start is a live sales event. At it, I have explained how everything will be implemented quickly. For example, Fluent Community and the app, which will be at the latest in the third quarter of 2025. And until today, apart from one strange post saying that Lazy Coders participate in a joint action, well, I really invite you to the Lazy Coders forum and see how nothing is happening there with this app.
Here, of course, Fluent has gone silent and knows nothing anymore. This is just one example, I could calmly give a hundred things like this, which they promised would be, but which were not fulfilled and about which now they do not speak at all or they completely changed tactics.
So it’s about that part of communication, sincere communication with their customers. And that has not happened here for two years, since I have been seriously with them. And once again, to repeat. Their products are good.
They are easy to use. They have very interesting solutions. Their ecosystem works quite well. But again. The customer is ignored here, especially the customer who is most closely connected with them.
And nothing is changing in this matter. Or rather, whenever anyone points out anything, well, sometimes Jewel replies that "what are you talking about, after all, we're doing updates." Again, remaining silent about the core problem itself. Just take a look also at the VIP Lounge forum, where this forum was supposed to be, where the most valued customers would all be informed, etc.
And the picture itself says a lot.
Nevertheless, of course, I hope for a good update and the development of their products.
Fit Lehrer We are all business owners here — not children.
No one is being “impatient” for the sake of it. When a company publicly promises an update “yesterday or the day before” and then goes silent again, people will naturally ask questions. That is not childish. That is normal.
This pattern is not new. WPManageNinja launches products with strong potential, does several updates at the beginning, builds excitement… and then momentum slows down dramatically. We’ve seen it with multiple products.
Take FluentAffiliate as an example — why launch a product if development stalls shortly after? Why promote roadmaps and timelines if they are not realistically achievable? That is where frustration comes from.
And let’s be honest: when we see a full team photo with what looks like 40–50 employees, it’s difficult to understand how development speed can be this slow. Either resources are allocated elsewhere, or communication is not aligned with reality.
The products are good. That’s not the debate. The ecosystem has value. That’s why many of us invested early and heavily.
But communication and delivery consistency matter just as much as code quality.
No one here is attacking anyone personally. We’re asking for transparency, realistic timelines, and follow-through.
That’s not impatience. That’s accountability.
And it’s a shame, because the potential is enormous.
Fit Lehrer I wonder why you are upset about FC customers complaining FC for missed deadlines. I find it very strange.
Alexander Sugianto Totally fair question. I’m not upset that customers give feedback—missed deadlines are a valid reason to be frustrated.
What bothers me is the constant complaining tone that shows up in the community: it rarely helps solve anything, and it tends to snowball into negativity. As a content creator (and someone who also develops parts of the code for my own platform), I know how hard it is to ship things on time—unexpected issues happen. A community works best when people report problems clearly, share details, and support each other, instead of piling on with repetitive rants.
So yes: hold FC accountable and ask for transparency—but let’s keep it constructive and respectful, because that actually leads to improvements.
Fit Lehrer You would do well to give example of holding FC accountable in the manner you just described.
Fit Lehrer maybe people are out of patience because being polite does not work anymore.
