Draft posts + Exposing the post type on the back end

I'm not sure if draft posts is a thing, but it would be incredibly useful to have for us to be able to work on posts that aren't quite ready yet. While we're on the subject, since the community posts are simply a custom post type, I think it would be useful to expose that on the backend so you can create posts as a community manager using the native Wordpress editor, and thus be able to schedule posts easier, draft them, etc. Food for thought.
