Does anyone use FC for video content?
We have an online fitness program on the woocommerce website. The pages are stored in KAdence, with each video in one post. We use Prestot. I was thinking of simply putting the existing pages in the sidebar and enabling theme compatibility for them. Would that work?
But if I enable theme compatibility, the page will refresh, right? Will this affect performance? Or does it not matter, as users won't care?
Does anyone use it in a similar way? We would only need 2 spaces, the rest of the pages would be content.
We wanted to use a similar plugin from another company because we were told how good it would be, but what's been happening there for months is a disaster... We cant wait more.
Video Embed? Yea I've been using it, I put a request in to support twitter/instagram but right now it's just YouTube embeds mostly that I've dabbled with but I'm sure .mp4 self hosted upload will work too.
If you are worried about performance, either use YouTube/Vimeo or whomever AND OR setup a CDN to deliver your videos for high performance loading. If you refresh and worry about picking up where you left off you could always right a small snippet of j$ to fix that.
performance is something you can tackle with better hosting too.
We're using bunny.net for video streaming, works nicely in Courses.
