Does anyone use emailit?

I would like to know if anyone else uses emailit via smtp, and if so, how is it working out for you?

Thank you

Manuel MΓΌller

David ScurlockΒ jep....works totally fine on most of my (client) sites...for whatever reason it stopped working on one website....anyways, never had other problems with emailit and jiri, the founder, is great in support and to communicate with....

if they're still on appsumo (bought my plan last year), you can't make anything wrong if you grab the deal.

Otherwise try out tosend when it's launched, it's super easy to use and it'll have bounce handling with fcrm.

I started using it a few days ago. I got the LTD in AppSummo.

Their dashboard is good and it was easy to configure my domain. Then I added an SMTP connection in FluentSMTP and all my email tests went out without any issues. Also from FluentCRM.

I also verified my account and I was moved out of the onboarding pool in few hours. Their support is very responsive.

I haven't started using it in production yet, but so far I'm fully satisfied.

David Scurlock

JFΒ how do you verify your account?

JF

David ScurlockΒ you just need to send the following information to their support email:

- Business name

- Physical address

- Contact information

- Representative name

- Types of emails you send (Marketing, transactional,...)

That's all!

JFΒ How do you do bounce handling? I bought EmailIt and have it configured but I don't see a way to handle bounces except manually.

Kristian Pesti

I started using it last year, worked fine in start. It was probably May of -25. Started having problems with Microsoft addresses, all of them bounced. Went through it with support, but problems continued through the summer. Set up AmazonSES and switched all my sites using Emailit to AmazonSES and been happy since.

I was probably on a bad sending server that had been blocked. I would guess they have fixed this by now, but it was a stressful experience.

David Scurlock

Kristian PestiΒ sorry to hear that. I guess if it doesn't work out then SES will be an option.

Kristian Pesti

David ScurlockΒ Yeah, it's always good to have a backup. But Emailit was super easy to setup compared to AmazonSES so hopefully it will work out for you!

JF

Kristian PestiΒ the onboarding pool of Emailit is blocked by Microsoft. You need to verify your account to get move to a reputable pool. Once in the new pool, your emails will land in the Microsoft inboxes. That's my experience so far.
