Disabling "Joining space" & "member" concept
Is it possible to completely remove the concept of joining individual spaces and having members? I want to make all spaces public. Would it work if I just hide the relevant buttons using CSS, or is there a better way to do this?
It feels like a hurdle for a new user to recognize all the feature such as [Joining to a specific space] etc. If an user with an authority enters a portal, I want everything to be public, except the course. I don't want members to know the concept of joining to a specific space. I want it to be minimal and clean
For some usecase, I think members won't need to see the archive of recent post in the feed, follow each other, or to see leaderboard, and joining space. All they need is to take the course, and ask questions, get premium resources, and see blog posts. Simple.
"Follow" and "Leaderboard" can be disabled in the setting, but there are still things like joining space, and feed space which cannot be perfectly disabled.
Things are very good in FC, but it should provide the flexibility of minimal option.
Make spaces public, hideview participants feature from guests, and probably so they appear immediately in the feed, remove the slug /portal
The first two are available in the settings, and the last one is done through code.
