Disable 1:1 messaging for individual users (not globally)
Hello! Is it possible for individual users to disable 1:1 messaging if they don't want members of the community to reach out to them?
I don't believe so. I think the only option is message everyone or Admin/Mods only.
I'm planning to dig into the messaging plugin further anyway to figure out a way to delete entire message threads, so I'll add that to my list of things to check also.
Jeff Brigman Thanks! This was more to prevent people from messaging me as an admin. I would like the community members to be able to contact each other 1:1 but I'd rather that they didn't contact me directly on the platform.
I use Better Messages and it integrates nicely in FluentCommunity, You can block other users and it has more options to configure than the default chat.
