Difference between courses top menue and sidebar

I like that we can now add courses and not make them appear in the sidebar courses section.

Also we have the option to only show a course if a member is enrolled / subscribed to it. But this - as far as i see - means the course disappears from both the top menu and the sidebar.

Even better would be the option to let a course appear in the top menu "courses" overview even if he is not subscribed or enrolled, but make it disappear from the sidebar in that case.

Simply put that would mean i can show all available courses in the top menu, from there a user can also buy a course he doesnt have now.

And in the sidebar i can make a section named "Your courses" where ONLY courses that a member owns will appear, not all of them.
