Custom work... anyone available?
Hi, Im looking for a custom modification betweeb FC and WP and scoping the price at the moment...
I have a project I was working on using WP and a theme called VidRev that essentially allows displaying WP video posts in a youtube style format.
Problem is it get slow!
VidRev has a few nice features that allow front end posting where users simply enter video title, description etc alongside the YT URL and it displays nicely with admin controlled filtering on the front end with YT style layout.
It also lets me simply enter a YT channel and 'scrape' all videos from that channel displaying them as videos on my site. Very handy for building content quickly and easily.
Im looking to possibly rebuild the site on FC but would really like to be able to have this one bulk adding content feature available.
Is anyone available to add this as a custom feature to FC and if so, what would it cost?
I have tried looking at import export but it isnt setup to import into FC just into WP.
Any ideas?

Deckard Cain this is the actual plugin used in theme I have but I think its the pro version, could you do an integration of this to creat FC posts rather than standare WP posts?

What are your server resources? Got enough RAM, CPU cores, checked PHP workers, etc?
William Beem Server resources are fine, its on a dedicaterd server pretty high spec. Its just the build with WP and certain plugins... front end is pretty fast, although no where near as fast as FC . Back end starting to grind on page load. Think its just certain plugins dont like to plauy well together
Tim Lord I generally suspect server resource issues when the front end is fast and the dashboard runs slow. If you have a high spec server, it could be a resource configuration issue that's preventing WordPress from taking advantage of the resources. Just speculation, but worth a look.
Looks like this is the standaline plugin that would need integrating, this is the one being used in the WP theme I have. Pro version allows importing YT vids in bulk into custom post types... Does FC use WP custom posts or is it a completely different thing altogether?
