Creating Membership Roles & Automation
Need help understanding the Membership Roles & Automation...
I need to have automation automatically register someone to the website that is housing FluentCommunity.
Desired Outcome:
Customer purchased "paid subscription" on Website A.
Automation is triggered in Website B (FluentCommunity) to register the "paid subscriber", and add them to specific "Spaces" within FluentCommunity.
FluentCRM within Website B, then sends them their login details, and a welcome email.
I'm doing this scenario with Fluent Forms Pro, but slightly different. My main site is the marketing site. Then I have Site B with the community. Since the community sits in its own space as is not affected by theme, I just used the same theme on site B, set the home page to registration (FFP) and there you have it. Works great!
kyler boudreau So the customer from Site A is redirected to Site B's landing page that has a Fluent Form that the customer then has to fill out manually?
I'm trying to make this completely automated as the customer from Site A has already entered their information into a form on Site A.
If it's not possibly, this definitely sounds like that way to do it though.

Connery Johnson no, what I'm saying is the person only enters the info one time, but it's on site B. Since the theme is the same, they don't even know they went from one site to the next.
Connery Johnson with Fluent Forms Pro you can also send form data from Site A to Site B. I do that for multiple sites going to the same Fluent CRM. But for my online film school, I'm just sending to site B when they click "Enroll" on Site A.
Hi Connery Johnson , you can use the webhooks if you website A can generate it. The webhook is sent to FluentCRM in website B and then you can trigger the automation for creating the user and grant access to your community
Flowmattic (https://flowmattic.com/integration/fluentcommunity/) on site B might do the trick. Setup a workflow with an incoming webhook that is triggered by the form on site A.

kyler boudreau I just recently purchased it also but haven't used it in any production processes yet (very close though). It seems very powerful and the new version 5 coming out soon sounds like will be even better.
Thomas Oates oh right on. Didn't know a new version was coming out. Yeah, I grabbed it on BF but haven't but it into action yet. Wanna automate some stuff when Stripe subscriptions are cancelled.
kyler boudreau The new version is supposed to have lots of database functionality including the ability to create database tables and read/write info in workflows. It can also apparently connect to remote databases. Sounds cool and could have lots of different applications.
