Course Module is getting a big update!
Our Course module is getting a superb rebuild specially the course builder! The next update will be so exciting.
Awesome! appreciate the head up! π
Is there a rough indication when you would like to see the big course update launched?
Shahjahan JewelΒ That's great news. However, it would be helpful to provide an estimated date for the update. For example, right now I'm unsure whether I should hold off on rewriting a substantial number of courses I'm migrating, or proceed anyway because the update might come in May or even later. I'd appreciate a realistic timeframe estimate that would help me plan accordingly.
Michal PaczulaΒ the new update is scheduled this week. So if all tests passes then we are going to release.
Shahjahan JewelΒ Thanks for reply
Shahjahan JewelΒ Great news! Weβre in the same situation as Michal PaczulaΒ
Shahjahan JewelΒ Great, thanks for letting us know it's scheduled this week via all tests pass! we look forward
Sounds great! π
Great, but we're also eagerly waiting for the custom pages feature to embed custom content and also roadmaps Shahjahan JewelΒ π
Hi Shahjahan Jewel, that you for this update. Meanwhile, seems like for lesson comment has some issues.
- Users cannot edit their comments,
- Users cannot see people who like their comment(s),
- Long comments are not possible as the reply button is covered
- In case of so many comments, it becomes a nightmare for the user to scroll through them to add their own....
- Hopefully, Course creators will now only have access to their own created courses as this is another feature that may be highly needed.
Once again, thank you for the great work done....π

I just migrated my courses over, was looking forward to launching today, but my test user is unable to see course content! π
Parm SagguΒ Are you getting any errors? Do you have jetpack installed? We have a conflict with Jetpack which will be resolved in the next update.
Shahjahan JewelΒ I am not getting any errors and I don't have Jetpack active. I have done conflict testing. Even when I deactivate all plugins, the course content is not showing up.
Sounds good to me. I still need to migrate my courses from another platform. Between Bunny Streaming and FluentCommunity, it looks like this ought to work nicely.
Please say we will be able to use more block types in it? Pretty please?
Shahjahan Jewel, ΒΏtambiΓ©n lanzarΓ©is las traducciones esta semana?
Again, in some future releases, you have to have prerequisite courses, exams (quizzes), and possibly allow the combination of courses into a curriculum. Without exams (quizzes) it is really not a course or learning module. So, again, please consider this. And, no Fluent Forms would not be a solution for this. If the client has to cobble together CRM, Communities, and Forms to achieve competitor's functionality it looks bad. That said, this is still early in the lifecycle, so I do believe this will all eventually arrive.
Yay! I am SO looking forward to this!! β€οΈ
