Course Audio
Is there currently any possibility to use audio instead of video in a course? If so, I'd be glad to see how it can be done.
The shortcode isn't working, there's no integration with audio players (Presto, HTML audio player), and sometimes a lesson isn't just about video.
I'd appreciate any help :)
Not tested it but I would have thought you could embed an audio player via the embed html option or as a shortcode. What audio player are you using?
Ross HΒ thanks for reply!
I'm using the HTML5 audio player, which has many shortcode options, but none of them work with Fluent Community. Oembed doesn't work either...
Ross HΒ how you did that?
Ross HΒ thanks
but in that case, we provide an unencoded player depending on the browser someone is using. Additionally, users can download the content, and we have no control over the appropriate controls (speed up, slow down).
Thatβs why I want the option to use a dedicated player :)
Michal PaczulaΒ Sorry just trying to keep up - do you want them to be able to change playback speed and download or not? This code can be customized to your liking I believe.
The html is quite flexible actually
Ross HΒ Thank youβI was so focused on it needing to be a plugin that I completely dismissed the possibility of using attributes and simple HTML. :)
Everything works smoothly now, although obviously, having a dedicated player would be better (I noticed Shahjahan JewelΒ mentioned it today).
Great job, you've helped me a lot!
Michal PaczulaΒ That's great news - hopefully it will be enough for now :)
I used a private podcast player as an embed
Lee BuschΒ Which one?
Ushan BoydΒ I'm sorry, I never saw this notification. I bought Disctopia when it was on special. It does audio, or optionally video. I use HTML embeds for it.
