Add the ability to use Regex to flag things such as URLs or emails
Shahjahan Jewel : I fully support this request! Adding Regex support is essential for nuanced moderation. Currently, blocking single keywords is too limited and creates many false positives.
Examples of why we need it:
- Context: I want to allow the word 'money' in normal discussions, but automatically flag phrases like 'make money' or 'instant wealth'.
- Safety: I don't want to block a word like 'foreigner' globally, but I need to flag aggressive patterns like 'bad foreigner' or spam signatures like '+229' followed by text.
Regex would allow us to be much more precise while keeping the benefits of the native moderation interface (logs and manual approval). This would be a game changer for community safety!
