Consent for sending emails 2

  1. By default, FC sends letters through the Default FluentSMPT Connection. It would be great if we could enable FC to have a special “From Name” setting, just like the global email setting in FluentCRM.
  2. I’m not sure how FC and CRM records are connected, but it would be awesome if we could send users not only chat messages but also emails. It would also be great if we could send emails to all members of this group on behalf of the group moderator. Users might not visit the site often and miss important messages or chats. Having a mobile app would solve this issue, but it would be great to have one.

As far as I understand, with FluentSMTP, you can set as many connections as you like. Based on the email address you use (the mail from), FluentSMTP decides which connection to use. From a deliverability standpoint, it is better to separate your email streams. I'm using one connection for transactional emails (login without a password) another for community email notifications (operational), and a different one for marketing (newsletter, etc).

  1. You should have this page settings strictly for Fluent Community which has the FROM NAME like you are requesting.
  2. Emails go out to those who are tagged or comment replied to by default. Users have the ability turn on new post notifications on a space by space basis too under their profile.
  3. They are working on a native app with a third party provider and trying to keep it affordable too.
  4. If you use the @everyone tag in your post, it automatically sends an email to everyone 5 minutes after the post is published too.

Donald McGuinn As possible please specify how @everyone tag works, do only members of group or whole community receive the message?

Donald McGuinn

Olex Lipinski members of that space. I believe.
