COMMUNITY FEED VIEW: Is there an option of seeing the community feed without logging in or joining the community while having the community member details hidden?

Dan The fCommunity can be configured with Public access so everybody can access the domain.com/portal (including some posts and user details).

However you can decide which Spaces are Public/Private. Members list or details currently are visible if Space = Public (as far as I remember).

Note: I didn't play much with the Public fCommunity and my knowledge is basic but this is what I discovered so far.

Note: if someone is accepting to join a Public Community he should be aware that some user details might be visible to the public. So it is good to have this mentioned in your Privacy Policy.

In case we don't want to allow users to see their details in Public I would recommend to make the fCommunity for registered/logged in users.

Currently if Feed is Public also Members details are public.

I am not sure if this is good example but some Facebook groups can be preview without logging in and you can see users details there too.

I wish we could somehow hide user details when fCommunity is Public but this might not be possible at this moment. I tried my best to share my thoughts/basic knowledge.

Not Important, thanks for sharing these details. The only issue is see here is "Currently if Feed is Public also Members details are public.". Feed needs to be public to drive traffic and membership, but the Member details must be hidden by default unless the member decides to show them. Suggestion for Shahjahan Jewel

Dan, that is why I suggested disabling /members route here cuz I feel the same pain.

Note: the fTeam is watching all posts so no worries he will take care of them and try to justify the business case etc
