Community Advertising

Is anyone here using an advertising plugin within their FluentCommunity install? I know I can add widgets to my sidebars using the FCA Widgets plugin. I know I can add Google Ads within those widgets. But what are you doing to handle other advertisements within your FluentCommunity? Manually? Another plugin?

I appreciate your thoughts.

Ross FCA is working on an ad manager for fc, however, he says it won't be ready until 2026.

Where in the portal are you looking to insert ads? Header? Between posts? As posts?

Ross FCA Sidebar or even Banner Header on the Space would be nice option. I can totally see this incorporated into your FCA Widgets plugin

Ross FCA I would say ads should go anywhere they can, but not look spammy. If you check the feed section on FC, you will see a yt video and text ad there.

I would like to see an advertising option, too. I haven't considered all the locations. The ability to add tracking would be nice. Geotargeted advertising would also be really cool so that ad placements can dynamically change based on the user’s location.

I am currently using Advanced Ads, but unlike BB, there is no generic integration (yet), am forced to use it only on manually created pages with the FC template.
