Communities... are not just about courses.
We’re all building in the creator economy: and for many of us here, FluentCommunity has become the backbone of how we deliver value.
We’re also very aware that the e-learning industry is evolving incredibly fast. With all the new tech available, real up-to-date value needs to be delivered in flexible and modern ways.
Not just because we have an audience, a membership, or a course catalog…
But because we want to offer the best possible experience to our members: through our content, our network, and our ecosystem.
And when we want to craft a truly compelling offer for our communities, it usually means going beyond forums and courses. We often need to provide access to:
- Special perks & discounts
- Templates, documents, and resource libraries
- Live streams & event replays
- 1:1 coaching or mentoring areas
- Challenges, guided journeys, etc.
Bringing back an important feature request
There’s a feature request with +14 votes on the roadmap that would unlock a LOT of possibilities:
Custom CPTs inside FluentCommunity: not just spaces or courses.
Use cases include:
- A full resource library (documents, templates, frameworks)
- A challenge hub (similar specs to courses, but structured differently for short actionable steps)
- Any other content type communities need to scale and organize value
Here’s the suggestion for reference:

This single addition would remove a huge amount of friction for many of us and simplify dozens of workarounds we’re currently maintaining.
🔧 A note on current workarounds
Many creators here have already built their own solutions for live streams, resource repositories, gated areas, and more.
But it’s a pity that something so fundamental for communities (flexible content types) still isn’t native.
💡 A proposal for Faizus Saleheen and the team
We’ve noticed that many users (both here and in our inboxes) keep asking for tutorials, onboarding content, and guided learning paths for WPMN products.
Imagine if this community had dedicated areas for:
- Qualification courses
- Step-by-step challenges
- Product onboarding missions
- “Build your first automation / campaign / launch” programs
This would not only help new users master the ecosystem faster…
It would also create a space for creators in the community to collaborate and contribute: something many of us are already doing informally. Also, creating content and courses about fluent products.
Personal note:
I truly believe this direction aligns perfectly with the “ninja philosophy”: empowering creators, reducing friction, and giving us the tools to build outstanding member experiences.
Hope it helps. Thank you for making our lives easier!
Love you all :)
