Chat will Benefit from using a system of date + hour instead of just “how many days since last messages”:
Right now, the bubble of a message reads things like:
- 4 days ago
- 1 day ago
It’ll be better to have WhatsApp or messenger alike:
Tuesday 10th October 200XMessage: XXXXXXXXXXXXXXX
22:31
Message: YYYYYYYYYYYYY
23:45
Friday 13 October 200XEtc
Or maybe just the full date…and not “x days” 🤓
Fluent Messaging is a very early stage product in my opinion. I'm sure it will mature but like courses I doubt it will get to the point of having everything you'd expect from a dedicated messaging system. The free version of Better Messages works really well, has most of what you've requested, and integrates seamlessly with FC. As it's a dedicated messaging system it also has frequent updates and direct support (on here too). I know you're avoiding 3rd part plugins for now but I highly recommend it.

Ross FCA does that mean I could essentially create a chat group for members of a course, for example? That would be really great for one of my clients that has multiple cohorts every semester (student advisor).
