Chat Feature > Customize who can access to it
I think this was proposed a long time ago.
Not sure if it's achievable, but it will be so handy to be able to allow or disallow access based on roles, FCRM tags, access to spaces, etc.
That would be nice. So would the ability to delete a chat. On this community, I got spam message from a user who was since deleted. I'd love to get rid of that chat message, but I don't see an option to delete it.

I have also received a couple of spam messages. And it's a bit annoying having that there, even the user was deleted.
Talking about enhancements, I'll also suggest, allowing to "delete" the Group Chats from the Private Message Menu too.
I have already reported that, even you left a Group Chat, you will still be notified on the portal with a notification of that Group Chat. It just takes a second to be auto-deleted. But for the UX it's a bit... weird.
So: You enter the portal, get a notification of the chat > see the abandoned group chat notification and then it's unavailable because you left the space 🤣
Jorge de los Reyes Yes, I have a group chat here that's stuck on my chat page. I thought it would go away once I left the group chat. I don't really use chat on this site that much, but I do accidentally click the wrong icon and get reminded of those things.

I’m actually going to be dissecting the chat plugin to see if I can expand the features…. especially to delete an entire thread.
