Buying a 3rd party FC license.
I have the option to buy a 3rd party fc license from a developer, however, im not quite sure how this works.
So the developer has total control over my license? Which can be pulled at anytime? What if the developer goes out of business? What happens to all the work i would have put into building fluentCommunity? Does all that work go down the drain? At this point, I am trying to decide the pros and cons.
Developer license $200
FC Ltd $400
Would love to hear your thoughts.

Over the long haul, I'd recommend having your own license because you can get the LTD. Hands down, the LTD directly from WPMN is better than any deal with a "middleman".

Even if it's a lifetime license, the developer could block your site at any time, so you would stop receiving updates.
You only get full support from WPMN if you have bought the license direct.
Although there's a whole grey area with GPL (hence being able to buy premium plugins for a lot less from dodgy sites) it is "Not the Done Thing™"
All the developer can do is revoke your license. You would be able to keep the plugin and your content without updates or support. You would be able to secure a new license at any time.
If you can afford it, buy the the LTD now directly. The price will likely go up in the future, and there is always the chance the LTD will be removed as a purchase option at a future date.
I also recommend buying the license directly from WP Manage Ninja, you'll be on the safe side.
