bunny.net streaming and compression

Not unique to FluentCommunity but very relevant...

My first introduction to bunny.net streaming was with Presto Player, and in their docs they recommend compressing videos with HandBrake before uploading.

But if bunny.net is transcoding the files anyway (and I'm not storing original versions there) is this really necessary?

Obviously I want to keep my costs down, but I also want to make life easier for clients!

No, it’s not necessary as long as you’re using Bunny Stream (not just storing the files on Bunny CDN). It would only degrade the quality.
