Building Skool-replacement?
Hello! Is it possible to build a Skool-replacement with FluentCommunities? Meaning a platform for creators to host their own communities. In Skool I love the fact that you can click a member and see all groups they are part of.
A creator can be active in other groups to get people to join their group without advertising themselves, they can just click their name. Also members can find new communities by checking which other communities people have joined.
This is why I was thinking of creating a niche circle of communities. For example a platform for entrepreneur communities. Or a language based circle of communities could work too. Creators would pay x€/month to create their own paid community they could charge what they want for their members.
Also I could add FluentCart (soon), FluentAffiliate and FluentCRM to enable even more features like them being able to send newsletters to their members etc.
Is this possible with FluentCommunity or is it only for one community with multiple areas?

Kristian Pesti there isnt any saas options at all. its a standalone solution nothing else, dont think theyll do saas.
One element that Skool has that FluentCommunity lacks is events & calendars. Some plugins may work for that, but I've not tested any with FluentCommunity.

William Beem Fc events, the custom plugin made from Ross FCA is great. I am using it now with great results
Ioannis Glossopoulos I saw his announcement about it and didn't go for it because I'm not yet in a place where I need to do events. However, he's provided some great tools already and I trust his quality.
Kristian Pesti I'm not sure that's the right tool. Booking for a service and registering for an event are different types of use cases. I'd be thrilled if FluentBooking did both, though.

William Beem try Team up for event. Best group events management platform I've encountered.
I think the ability to change the course lock screens to link up to a members level and a tab in each course that could link to a FluentBooking calendar would be solid start. Skool uses unlocks and the ability to work up to no more membership fees as an engagement tool to keep members longer.

Sean Yeah, true! Engagement is important to the success of the community. These features encourage engagement, which is good.
Currently though I'm more interested in if it's possible for multiple paying creators (paid to me) to host their own paid (paid by members of the creator to them) private communities under one FluentCommunity install.
Kristian Pesti You should add it to the roadmap, but I feel like this is a ton of programing for a small amount of users. I think the majority of us want to build an engaging community that has more retention. Very few people want to try and take on an already established market.
Sean Yes, I do agree it might be too much out of scope. I originally got FluentCommunity to build communities for businesses of my clients. But just recently I realized how linking these communities would add value.
Like why Facebook groups are still in use, even though they are pretty horrible. People use Facebook, see the messages at the same time and engage.
And I agree that building a direct Skool competitor wouldn't work, but building a local, language specific competitor could. But I'll add this to my "might-happen-one-day" list and let it rest, thanks for your comments!
Kristian Pesti I understand your goal, it's just a ton of work. I have multiple FC set up, but would not want the businesses to see each other.
I don't see why you couldn't build a website and create signup pages dedicated to each of your customers businesses that would link to a dedicated space and then also offer shared industry spaces.
Not sure if that would work, but probaby a much faster solution.
