Blocking point for sharing Fluent Community content on social media
Hello team,
I’m encountering a consistent issue with Fluent Community posts not generating link previews on Twitter/X.
To confirm that it’s not related to my own site configuration, I tested with your official site:
https://community.wpmanageninja.com/portal/space/fluentaffiliate/post/fluentaffiliate-1-1-0-introducing-crea
Twitter Card Validator result:
INFO: Page fetched successfully
INFO: 12 metatags were found
INFO: twitter:card = summary_large_image tag found
ERROR: Possibly invalid value (if specified) (twitter:title)
ERROR: Possibly invalid value (if specified) (og:title)
ERROR: Possibly invalid value (if specified) (twitter:text:title)
From what I see:
twitter:text:titleis deprecated and should not be used anymore (it causes an error).og:titleandtwitter:titlevalues generated for community posts are flagged as “possibly invalid” by X, while LinkedIn previews still work fine.
Could you please fix this by:
- removing the
twitter:text:titlemeta tag, - simplifying/sanitizing the values for
og:titleandtwitter:titleso they are valid for X.
Since this issue is visible directly on your official portal, it seems to be a general bug in Fluent Community.
Thanks in advance for your help fixing this would make sharing Fluent Community posts much more reliable on social platforms.
we will take a look.
