Black Friday Deals

Hey Fluent -- release your Black Friday deals now so I can buy everything lol. I want to get a jump on my community but it's so close to BF I figured there would be a deal. Oh the struggle is real. 😝

David Scurlock

I have not been around long enough; does fluent have a history of holiday deals? By searching the community, then i would say the answer is no...

Bob

David ScurlockΒ I don't know either.

David Scurlock

Mat β€ŽΒ for who? Existing or new members? There is a big difference.

Mat β€Ž

David ScurlockΒ I guess discounts are for everybody otherwise "old users" can create a new account and get a discount for a "new user"

David Scurlock

BobΒ I have had a couple of fluent products for over 2 years and I do not recall seeing any discounts other then lifetime deal offers.

David Scurlock

Mat β€ŽΒ it doesn't appear any discounts will be coming.

Mat β€Ž

David ScurlockΒ I am not tracking all product prices but I can see a discount on the annual pricing.

What is funny? I see two diferrent Annual prices for the same product when accessing these links (one link is from the top header 20% and the other 40% is taken from menu):

So there are ongoing discounts for Black Friday I guess - In this case 40% and 20% off (maybe these are for a new accounts only - I dont know).

Shahjahan JewelΒ please verify why two different prices (20% vs 40% off) are displayed unless it is OK.

David Scurlock

Mat β€ŽΒ I wouldn't mind seeing a discount on Ltd for fluentCommunity, but that doesn't appear to be the case.

Mat β€Ž

David ScurlockΒ Ah.. OK. Its true. Got it now! I saw LTD discount on Fluent Board and thought it is also for Community LTD etc. I was wrong then.

David Scurlock

Mat β€ŽΒ now I am actually considering the yearly plan for $119. After all, for the Ltd, it woukd take 4 years to break even and I will know within 6-12mo if my site will be successful or not. I can always get the ltd in the future.

Vigi1ante

David ScurlockΒ But um... it will be regular price ($199) upon renewal next year, no? Not to mention, the annual price could go up anytime. I'm with you though... it's difficult to commit to LTD. You just never know where you'll be in a few years.

David Scurlock

Vigi1anteΒ I dont know. Maybe Shahjahan JewelΒ can answer that question. If i pay $119 per year, will it be the same price next year. When i goto check out, it does not say if it will revert back to $199 after the first year.

Bob

David ScurlockΒ I would imagine it should lock people in to the current rate unless otherwise specified. That would be the right thing to do.
