Automatically add people to spaces when they explicitly introduce themselves by posting in the welcome thread
Hey FluentArmy,
Does anyone have a workaround to add people to spaces when they post in the welcome thread—and, before that, hide the other spaces from them? Manually it’s easy; I just add them when they post. But maybe someone has a smart automation idea. I have FluentCRM Pro and Ottokit too, but from my view there wasn’t an easy way or trigger. Maybe I’m missing something. I’d be very happy for any suggestions!
How do you know which space to add them to after they post in the welcome thread?
Hey Thomas. I Have a "Start Here" Space. Next to other Spaces for different topics. My plan is to add them to all the other spaces, after they introduced themself. I Have a free Community but i want to prevent that spammers or leakers come inside. Thats my point.
Patrick Müller I've got FlowMattic and I'm pretty sure you could do it with a FlowMattic workflow. OttoKit would probably work too. I think you'd use the 'New Space Feed Created' trigger to get it started.
