Automated posts from Zapier/Make/N8N

I know there are a handful of Wordpress based automation plugins that can handle automated posting, however I'm wondering if you can do this through Make/Zapier/N8N etc? I ideally want to stage some posts in Airtable, then trigger them to schedule/post to my community so I can keep a content calendar of sorts. Has anyone done this? #zapier #n8n #automation

I am using zapier. It works well with rss.

Bob

teethyΒ So you're able to programmatically create posts using Zapier? Can you elaborate?

elton colins

yes. Yes. Look for the bit plugins Bit Flows and Bit integrations.

Bob

elton colinsΒ The original post literally asks about how to do it outside of Wordpress.

elton colins

BobΒ iΒ΄m sorry. In that case, I honestly don't know.

Bob

elton colinsΒ No problem. I know that Bit Flows and Flowmattic can do this, but I'm trying to use what I already have rather than getting a whole new plugin/expense for one thing.

I use n8n with FluentCRM and some other external tools. Where do you want to keep the trigger?

Charlotte

William BeemΒ THIS --> "Where do you want to keep the trigger?" is the question I've been needing in order to clarify my entire automation system. πŸ€©πŸ™πŸΌ

Bob

William BeemΒ Looking to do this with Fluent Community, not the CRM, just an fyi. The trigger would be from Airtable.

William Beem

Charlotte DΒ I've been using FluentCRM as my source of authority, even when there are other automation engines involved. It helps my brain to have a single place to initiate things.

Thomas Oates

You could probably do it using the official FluentCommunity API (https://dev.fluentcommunity.co/restapi/) but it would be easier to use one of the WP automation plugins.

Bob

Thomas OatesΒ I'm starting to get that. I might still look into using one of them.

We use Flowmattic to create posts on our groups. They're triggered by a new Google Sheet row or column, but can very well be triggerd by Airtable or FluentBoards.
