Auto new member post
Is it possible when I new user joins the community a post is automatically create that says member (username) has joined the community.
This would help make the feed seem more active and give other members a chance to say hello.
There isn't anything built-in to do this but you could do it in code or using one of the automation tools like FlowMattic.

I use to have it in my second page with buddypress. It was good when I started, but later when I had 20+ new users every day it was annoying. Now I have 68k users and cant imagine hav every second post. New registered user. Nobody will ever read my website.
Maybe an option to turn it off when the community gets to big like teethy

Hey Adam George I've created the add-on, was a little tricky to work on but I have finally succeeded in creating it.
There's two mode for the add-on: instant mode and delayed mode.
Instant mode: it creates a post instantly once user sign up(and verification email success) to your fluent community, tagging the username of the newly registered user.
Delayed mode: teethy said something that when you have too many users signing up, it becomes annoying, so I created the delayed mode whereby admin sets how many days to add all newly registered users in one post including usernames, dates, total number of registered users within the period you set. Let's say you(admin) set 7 days. Every 7 days, a post is made, tagging all newly registered users usernames for the past 7 days, with date of when each users signed up, and total numbers.
You(admin) can also configure the title and message, select a space where you want the welcome message to be posted.
You can see from the screenshot I attached below. The first post is "delayed mode(that has all usernames, dates of joining and total new registered users)" while the second post is "instant mode(post immediately a user registers with its username)".
They're some placeholders I created you can use to configure welcome message example: {username}, {counts}(total number), {date}(when user joined), {mention}(for delayed mode), {space-name}(for space), and so many others.
I'm just posting this here, to get y'all's feedback. As I am the people's person.
