Amazing updates but still missing critical features
Hey Shahjahan Jewel amazing job with the updates, its so cool to see so much effortt being put into this product.
However there are still 2 critical features that is affecting the way I manage my community.
- Event calendar
- Shortcode support for course videos
Hope to get these features soon.

If I understood everything correctly…
F.C tables are separate from those of WP, and the content is managed dynamically.
This increases speed but does not allow for interconnection.
Even the content created on F.C is displayed in more or less discreet iframes.
(F.C encapsulates WP content.)
So, what’s on WP—apart from user management—stays on WP.
Unless you tinker with a complex script (with no guarantee of success and which could cause problems during future updates), it’s not possible to use shortcodes on F.C.
D@vid it's not really about the database. Yes it's extended tables but it's still in the same place. Interconnection between databases is entirely possible. The issue with using normal Shortcodes inside fC is that the shortcode expect required scripts and styles to be loaded and they're not.

Can courses use shortcodes with the Gutenberg builder now? Or is the shortcode widget not available? I haven't started my courses in FC yet.
