Admin Visibility to member 1-to-1 chats
Can admins see these 1-to-1 chats or no?
They can in Better Messages. I haven't checked with Fluent Messaging.

In Europe, this is strictly prohibited. A private conversation is, by definition, private.
Yes. That’s the main reason we chose not to base our community on FluentCommunity. Please note that most WordPress chat solutions aren’t made for private conversations.
As far as I can tell the messaging inside the community is not visible to admin. I tried to use Better Messages as it gives more options, however that does show all to admin and I thus discarded it. To me it is unacceptable, even if it wasn't against the law.
Interesting thanks. I couldn’t see how they were visible. Karl do you know how they are? I want to be able to properly answer this question and perhaps you can’t see them anymore. I am not looking to see them but to be able to tell people if they can be seen and by who.
Lisa Faast Before launch, I asked Shahjahan Jewel if they intended to make the chats end-to-end encrypted and was told that end-to-end encryption wasn’t planned. Since an admin can run any code on the site, all data that isn’t end-to-end encrypted is accessible to an admin.
Ah ok. Well then their conversations are safe from me!!
