Adding More File Control Options in FluentCommunity

Hello,

I would like to suggest adding advanced file management options within the FluentCommunity plugin β€” applicable to posts, comments, and spaces.

The goal is to provide site administrators with greater flexibility in managing uploaded files and to improve overall site performance.

πŸ”Ή Suggested Features:

Ability to set a maximum upload size for images in posts and comments.

Option to define allowed file types in spaces (e.g., PDF or specific file extensions).

Control over file size limits based on content type (post, comment, space, etc.).

A dedicated settings panel in the dashboard to easily adjust these values.

This feature would be extremely helpful for large websites or communities with many active users, as it would help prevent overload and ensure a more st

able experience.

In general, would the file type size be regulated by the host server settings? Have you tested that to see if it does regulated this or does FC does its own thing? I'm very curious where it is regulated because if FC bypasses this, it would be an issue.

FluentCommunity supports all the file types that WordPress Core supports. We don't have a separate file validations.

Shahjahan JewelΒ If I am using a service like Cloudflare or Amazon S3 to handle my documents, is the WordPress Core still regulating that?

Shahjahan JewelΒ What I want is to specify the allowed file types, not allow all document types.
