Add REST API for FluentCommunity (Bulk Invite, Badge Assignment, Member Info)

Hi Fluent team,
We’re actively using FluentCommunity to build membership-based platforms with bundled course subscriptions.

However, we’re facing serious limitations due to the lack of a REST API for FluentCommunity. We’d like to request the following endpoints:

  1. POST /community/invite — for bulk inviting members by email (based on subscription plan).
  2. GET /community/members — to query existing members and their badges.
  3. POST /community/badges — to assign or remove badges automatically.
  4. GET /community/badges — to list available badges.

Use case:

  • Auto-invite users after purchase (via FunnelKit or WooCommerce).
  • Automatically assign badges based on plan tier.
  • Sync with external systems via automation tools.

🔁 Right now we’re forced to use custom PHP scripts and FunnelKit workarounds, which are fragile and hard to maintain.

🙏 A simple REST API would solve 80% of these issues and unlock better integrations.

Looking forward to your support or roadmap confirmation!

Our team is lagging with the REST API doc. I will try to publish the current in-progress version tomorrow.

Shahjahan Jewel Amazing 😍

Hoang Hxn

Shahjahan Jewel Do you have the FluentCommunity REST API doc yet?

James Maduk

Hoang Hxn nice to meet you :-). How did you get around this? Did you just create plugin for access?

Hoang Hxn

Shahjahan Jewel 🙏 There are also some very important requirements for FluentCommunity to deliver better value to users.
Feature Request FluentForm Integrate with FluentCommunity better:

  • Allow adding badge to member after submitting form.

  • Allow setting Verify status for member.

Feature Request FluentCommunity

  • Add Bulk invite
  • Need important feature is Parent Group Invite. Currently only invite each subgroup, subcourse. It is very annoying when creating incoming webhook. If Parent Group Invite is possible, it will automatically invite when I create a new course, group, it will automatically invite. No need to bulk invite manually. (It is very important for those who sell Subscription in bundle form)
  • Add leaderboard control feature directly on FluentCommunity, without going through FluentCRM like leveling up will automatically invite to the specified group/course. Less PHP and use FluentCRM, Easy for everyone
  • Documentation now supports attaching as grid and has illustrations. Helps users see and distinguish easier.

Hoang Hxn Use flowmattic for now, wait for the software publisher to integrate the features you want and then use it!

Hoang Hxn

Phùng Trọng Nghĩa I know flowmattic but it doesn't fit our process, The only thing I need is "FluentCommunity REST API doc"

Hi there, I fully support the Rest-API request. Thank you for highlighting it. Kind regards Michael from bertrams-coordinating-complexity.com

Shahjahan Jewel We really need FluentCommunity REST API doc. Hope the Team update it soon.

Nhung Phung

I've been waiting for the REST API doc for a long time as you promised, but it's still not here. Still hoping. 😭

Hoang Hxn

Nhung Phung I think Team Fluent will be out soon too 😏

James Maduk

I'm needing to connect my external content to the courses.

these would really help -

  • /courses (GET, POST, PUT, DELETE)
  • /lessons (GET, POST, PUT, DELETE)
  • /modules or /sections

Hoang Hxn

James Maduk Yes, that's what I want too 😉

Hoang Hxn

Shahjahan Jewel FluentCommunity REST API doc yet?

Looking at possibility to move to Fluent Community.. but REST API is a must to connect with other 3rd party apps we already use...

This is getting critical. Agent Workflows, MCP tools, RAG, access to the FC data isn't a choice now. Has there been any more thought about what the fluent tools are going to support?
