Add Questions to Courses

I considered moving some of our courses to FluentCommunity, but not having "Questions / Forms" is a hard show stopper for us...

Objective
Enable embedding of interactive questions directly within course content to assess learning progress and enhance student engagement.

Key Features Required

  • Question Creation Interface: Support for creating multiple-choice, true/false, and short-answer questions.
  • Flexible Placement: Allow questions to be added at any point within course material.
  • Immediate Feedback: Provide students with instant feedback on their answers.
  • Basic Reporting: Enable instructors to track student progress, completion rates, and scores.

Ooh love this idea, didn't think of this myself yet but indeed it would create for far better engaged students that will get way more out of a training than just blindly following a course.

I know from myself that I dropped out of some Udemy trainings I bought in the passed, but the ability to nudge people or for them to straight up ask questions can bring in a lot of value for students.

Would this work if we use Fluent Forms/ form tied to certain lessons Shahjahan Jewel ?

  • form created
  • tied to X lesson
  • on completion user get access to next lesson or needs to re-try
  • OR (in case it is tied to course ending) on completion user gets Y points/course finished/virtual certificate

We can use the entries view available in FForms and even have the visual charts system if needed.

Quiz system is as you say super important and could be implemented relatively quickly if no new development is needed just connections to the community in certain points.

The same for standalone quiz forms that grant X point in the leaderboard fir none course related engagement? (Space wide quiz on certain date to test progress of students over Y timeframe in any topic)

looking at https://fluentforms.com/, it look like you should be able to cover these LMS features:

  • Multiple question types for assessments
  • Quiz and test creation tools
  • Assignment submission and grading
  • Progress tracking and completion status
  • Examination with certification?

we are currently using https://www.anewspring.com/platform

this has obviously way more features, but it would make sense to list/cover the minimal required features to use FluentCommunity also as a real LMS
