About Theme Compatibility

Getting many queries about theme compatibility. Here are my thoughts:

Our goal is to make FluentCommunity elements (Sidebar, top bar) embeddable into your regular WordPress pages. Another way may be: To embed the full Community UI into a WordPress Page so that it will be a part of your website and match the header and footer.

We are doing some extensive R&D for this. I am hoping to have this feature within the next quarter. We may release as staged like giving support Gutenberg Block template first and then so on.

In that way, you can easily achieve these:

  • Making this app as a part of your website
  • You can use any other LMS plugin of your choice as that will look the same

We are also working on a few color variations and some customization options so you can match your styles. As all the colors are defined in variables it will be super easy for us to create skins as well as for you.

That would make this plugin work for so more scenarios, and would be needed for where I am headed. Bring it on!

Please about Theme Compitability, don't forget to add thrive themes builder and thrive architect in your testing process. I will really appreciate this

Bryan William, noted. Maybe we will just provide shortcodes so you can use them in any builder.

By the way, as far as I know, thrive is one of the worst builders in terms of performance. I never used their products but saw so many complains in different places.

Bryan William

Shahjahan Jewel,That will be amazing. Another suggestion is to embed or add "user profile" shortcode to any page

Bryan William

Shahjahan Jewel, I have been using thrive products for a very long time, without any issues, it works very fine for me, and many people here are using the product also

Shahjahan Jewel

Bryan William, Good to know. I will try their products in the future.

Wilco

Shahjahan Jewel, I think for the beginning this will be the best. Then everyone can use it in any theme and any builder.

Shahjahan Jewel, greenshift is the best

You guys are really amazing...

That would really be amazing. Now I have a problem really launching it on my site because it will confuse my users. I already have a "My account" page, with their LearnDash courses etc'.

I think the solution for my site would be to have a store-front, but when a visitor creates an account, he will be moved to the fluent community section.

Btw - is it possible to embed the chat on any other page (just the chat)? I'm thinking of maybe keeping the LearnDash focus mode and just adding the chat.

Regarding the courses - are you planning on implementing a quiz system? And is it possible to pick a linear progression module of the courses? Meaning - that a user can't "jump" to any lesson but has to complete them in a linear fashion.

love it

Shahjahan Jewel will you also just give us the custom classes? That way I can just style them with ACSS variables giving better maintainability.

Please don't forget about Bricks builder compatibility.

David McCan

There another way to solve the problem ... and that is to make your theme look like the community. If you are using a site builder like Bricks or Elementor Pro, or a flexible theme like Kadence or even the site editor, you can make a black and white site with a skinny header. Sure, not ideal, but doable today.

I took a look at the CSS and noticed you are using variables. A list of those with some comments and power users could do some color overrides now also.

Wilco

David McCan, yeah it's possible but doesn't really make sense if you ask me.

I need this and buddyboss migration, and then we can start :)

Nue Mute

This is surely amazing would really love to see an integration with TutorLMS and better messages fo this case. Meanwhile Shahjahan Jewel, will there be any migration support for the current users of Buddyboss? One of my clients is much excited about fluent commnity and can't really wait , however, our limitation might be that they don't want to lose any of the current data especially members and groups, courses and enrollments (currently with Tutor LMS ) and much more.

May need some green light here before I get back to them. Thank youΒ

Nuhuh MutebiΒ great suggestions! We need compatibility to Tutor LMS.
