Tom RobakΒ Wow π
Tom RobakΒ Wow !!! Great !!!! πͺπ»ππ»
Tom RobakΒ great idea, and great implementation, count me in!
Tom RobakΒ i'm in... the ninja's have a lot on their plate and a lot of this is not mentioned on the roadmap yet i.e the chat bots and real time translation, so who knows when they will release it. Being another ninja and coming out of nowhere with a demo is superb! thanks!
amazing ! congratulations !
Good stuff!
This is very wonderful, especially DeepSeek, which is very affordable. Other AIs are very expensive to use publicly. Very valuable features. I appreciate YOU!β€οΈπ
Eduard ManiatovskiiΒ I think gemini will be the winner. it's basically free
Tom RobakΒ This is awesome work!
Wow, Tom! π Thatβs absolutely spectacular.
This is exactly what Iβve been looking to implement: the ability to translate and also edit posts seamlessly. π₯
In our community, we already implemented an assistance and inspiration chatbot for users, but what youβve built takes things to another level by enabling automatic translation and adaptation of content inside FluentCommunity. ππ»β¨
Count me in! π Iβd be more than happy to test anything you need. Iβd also love to see how this could integrate with the OpenAI API, similar to how weβve set it up, so everything stays aligned with the style, tone, and parameters of the community.
Huge congratulations on this breakthrough ππ»π. I absolutely love it, and Iβm sure itβs going to be a game-changer for many of us!
Love this.
Funny, the thing that caught my eye in this video was very different...
Doh - and here's the post to match! https://community.wpmanageninja.com/portal/space/community-meta/post/local-video-upload-player
Jonathan GwyerΒ its already outdated ;) integration with cloudflare stream in the progress... it will be the winner...
This is a great idea!! π€©π€© Any idea when something will be available?
Awesome work!
Thank you for your work and for sharing it.
This is very cool indeed!
What an awesome work Tom RobakΒ ! Maybe an idea would be for the translation to automatically detect the language of the browser/device so people don't have to choose for a language for translation :) (or maybe it's already possible and I missed it in your video) However, this is crazy good and can't imagine the amount of work spent behind! Keep us updated, I believe a lot of us will be interested in this! Thank you!
Jimmy TavaresΒ lack of open documentation is limiting a lot of things...
Tom RobakΒ I totally understand, this was just an idea :) But regardless, it does not make me less excited about what you're cookin' ;) Thank you for all your efforts for the community!
Incredible work and great contribution. Looking forward to trying it. πππ
Me too!
Boom! well done Tom RobakΒ
All great AI features love the translations and the AI Chatbot and Q&A Bot for courses is brilliant! would love this!
To have the AI chatbot and Q&A Bot for courses in the various translations too will be a game changer!
Question 1: will the Q&A Bot for courses be what one enters into the database and what the courses are about? or will a ChatGPT or Gemini come in to assist with answers. I ask as I would prefer to keep the control of how the answered are answered vs what the other AI chatbots could take from the internet. Perhaps you offer an option for both for users to select which option they prefer.
Question 2: When do you plan on releasing the AI translation feature and when do you plan on having Q&A Bot for courses for release?
The Q&A Bot for courses will help everyone running FluentCommunity and courses as its a unique selling point for structured courses with integrate Q&A specific to the problem/solution. Something ChatGPT, Gemini etc cant offer as there info is scattered Q&A with no structure.
Question 3: Will there be a translation feature also for the courses comments feature?
Tom RobakΒ Another cool AI feature you can add seeing you got the text translation thing going is image translation for course thumbnails (hopefully soon the ninja's add course feature images too) and community feature images i.e 1. the page auto detects the local browser setting and displays the image for that local browser language. 2. If one can select their language preference throughout the whole site manually the images display the language it was set up for.
Images of course would have to be created for the language preference one chooses. It's pretty much what what TranslatePress plugin for Wordpress has that offers both 1 and 2 options https://translatepress.com/docs/image-translation/
Tom RobakΒ while I am at it... another cool feature to add for courses is Notes for note taking. Many people like taking personal notes of what they are learning in a course. Can have a notes section in the course and community and then have them also appear in its own notes section of the various place to refer too in one place and can be accessed from the main menu. See screenshot when notes collection is added into one place from courses and community. Not sure if community necessary but definitely courses.
Morgan McArthurΒ i think note lovers are having favourite note apps...
Tom RobakΒ yes that and also communities that include courses just don't think about it.
Vibe CodeΒ saw this on this site about AI note taking https://clickup.com/lp/brain/ai-notetaker . You will see they have a feature " Meeting Notes + Chat
Ask questions and get aggregated answers from all your meeting notes. "
With your AI Learning Assistant (for Course module) can work really well with a note taking feature which creates more personalied answers to their questions based on their notes. Just a thought for your thought ;)
Speaking of which I personally have a learning prompt/reflection box at the end of each lesson where students can leave their comment in the comment box. To have what a person leaves in their comments integrated into the AI Learning Assistant (for Course module) for more personalised answers would be amazing if you could incorporate that.
