Say Hello Space is must or not in a Community?
I have mixed feelings between leaving it or not.
I feel like people get bored of this "Present Yourself" section.
I get the idea of presenting to everyone but in my past experience only one or two members were really interacting, the rest ignore this messages.
What is your experience on this?
For me now is a no go, maybe I will opt for a weekly newcomers call to introduce who want to get into this weekly call.
Maybe you should have a something "Say Hello" or "Introduce Yourself" type of things.
Shahjahan Jewel yeah I have had, this but what I said is that in the end only 2 or 3 persons are constantly saying hello to new members, in a 1K community.
I'm also in a $1K entry community and the first week everyone was interacting, afterwards people got saturated of the hello I'm thing, that's why I'm looking for more perspectives and experience to this.
One of the key elements is to have the community with live and focus for the specific topics, that's what I feel right now.

I think it really depends on the type of community you plan to run and the activities involved.
For example, I manage a few local communities where we organize on-site events throughout the year. These communities are primarily active on WhatsApp, Facebook, and Meetup.com, and most new members add a short introduction to their initial request without being prompted for doing so, on WA & FB.
Since our groups are focused on being ‘local', our members actively connect with each other in person, that's why they value and engage with introductory posts quite a bit.
This can be completely different for communities designed mainly for learning or mentoring purposes, where the dynamics and engagement levels may vary significantly.

To me, it sounds very old. Every modern forum/community solution has a profile section for its participants where one can fill in his/her details, bio, and so on. I hate when a moderator steps into a discussion saying to someone "You have not presented yourself". If that person is contributing to the discussion, there is no need to have him/her spend time creating a post somewhere else.
