I have some questions

I would like to create a community where it allows me to do the following:

  • You can use the plugin as the main page on the home page, for example miweb.com and the fluentcommunity home page appears.
  • Can you create a document library? I mean PDF, ebooks, etc.
  • The home page can only be used for blog-style posts with a featured image, etc.
For now those are my questions

Let me help Erick:
- Read the comments on this post to set the plugin as your homepage
- Each space can create it's own document library, learn more here
- I'm not sure what you're asking. The Feed page is the default homepage which shows posts from all public spaces and any private spaces a user has joined. When someone creates a post, they can add an image (but I don't believe it is possible to force an image to be uploaded for each post). Under your community settings, customization page, you can change the rich media post display to modern which will show the image first (similar to how a featured image on a blog would look).

Stuart McKelvieΒ Thank you very much for your response, I hope I don't bother you, but there is a section within this community where you can see the archives area, a kind of bookstore or library, not in courses, but in spaces, so that pdfs, docx can be uploaded.

EricK Bueno MarcosΒ Yes it is possible in FluentCommunity (but it hasn't been set up in this community site we are currently in. The software does allow for that functionality though). If you click this link, it will explain in more detail: https://fluentcommunity.co/docs/documents-files-for-space/
