I think the new Fluentcommunity Follow Module still needs improvement. No notification/email of new follower. I had to visit my own profile to see new follower (Rupesh Padhi Rupesh Padhi). And its pathetic.. after so much engagement, commenting, providing feedback to this community.. it still feels empty, lacks true engagement amongst users... kinda feels like being in a silo.. ratiod follow count? or lacks the mechanics to draw users into following each other.. and staying in touch in the community.. anyways going outdoors for a bike ride
On the contrary, I was glad that there were no such notifications, as they put a strain on the mail server, and if your community grows, it will turn into spam.
On the other hand, let's think about why you need these letters. So Vasya Pupkin and company subscribe to you, and then what? Will you suddenly have a reason to create a reciprocal post for them, like, "Oh, hello, my two and a half subscribers?"
