Is FluentCRM like Memberpress?
HI there! I am soooo geeked about this new alt to Buddyboss! I am a publisher for a niche community and this seems like literally the best of all worlds as a new platform... Quick Question: I keep seeing references to Fluent CRM for managing members in the community and I wanted to know if this is similar to, kind of like Memberpress? In assigning tiers, accesses, categorizing members? etc?
No. This is not like that. Fluent crm is an email marketing system that has automations in for certain things. Like adding people to spaces. But no paywall or payments or things like that.

I guess I would liken FluentCRM more to a Mailchimp and HubSpot replacement. I think it's getting so many mentions because you can organize users into lists and tags with automations when the user signs up.
Gregory Storm Interesting... i currently use Beehiiv, so I am trying to understand what to use to manage levels and tiers then? Or maybe I am thinking about this in the same head of Buddyboss... I need to walk through the documentation to better undertand how to manage members and their accesses? I had a free and VIP member who was paid... I am trying to see and understand where or how I would manage that

Gregory Storm roles? They had different roles, and access to perform different functions which memberpress controlled? Like certain groups or pages, within the community. Does that help?
It could replace membership plugins if on every page they'd add the option to require a member to have certain tags. Then you wouldn't need a membership plugin or WP Fusion. 🤞
